Since Made in Idaho is based on an open source concept, the products and services provided here are done by volunteers only who want to make a difference. Similar to open source software projects, such as Pioneer Linux, the service is meant to promote products and services in Idaho by companies that truly manufacture their products in the state.

We are looking to put on an event with companies around the state promoting their products. This event will take time and efforts. If you're willing to put in an effort, we believe that the events would be great and show people what is actually made in Idaho.

It's all about promoting companies who manufacture a product in Idaho and those companies selling those products!
